Get your calendars ready because the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association just dropped its full event schedule for the 2026 season, and it looks like another packed year of cruising, car shows, and good times. The 43rd season features 15 events across the country, hitting many familiar spots but also bringing some exciting changes, including new venues and a brand-new, premium event.
The season kicks off in March with the familiar Texas Motor Speedway event, followed quickly by the Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona, which moves to a new two-day format. The month wraps up with the All-American Get-Together in Pleasanton, California. April keeps the momentum going with the always-popular Del Mar Nationals and the North Carolina Nationals in Raleigh.
May brings one of the biggest shake-ups: Goodguys is moving its Nashville event from the superspeedway to the newly renovated Nashville Fairgrounds downtown. This new location will host the inaugural BASF “Legends of Hot Rodding” event on May 15-16. This premium, members-only show focuses on vehicles ’64 and older and will feature unique highlights like live music, indoor-outdoor show areas, and the prestigious Hot Rod of the Year competition.
Unfortunately, the Mid-Atlantic Nationals in Dover, Delaware, is off the schedule, but Goodguys is already searching for a new Northeast venue. Meanwhile, the Southeastern Nationals finds a new home at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry this June.
The massive summer swing returns with the Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa, over the Fourth of July weekend and the huge Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, the following week, where the Grand Prize ’40 Ford will be given away. The Goodguys wraps up July in the Pacific Northwest. Fall brings the West Coast Nationals, Colorado Nationals, and a return to Texas (also now a two-day show) before the season concludes with the Autumn Get-Together and the grand finale Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale this November.
Fans can still expect all the usual Goodguys fun at each stop, including swap meets, Nitro Thunderfest dragster exhibitions, and live music. With the vehicle year cutoff bumped to 1999 and older for most shows, plus All-American Sunday welcoming all years, the Goodguys is set for another killer season celebrating America’s favorite car shows.
