Let’s see a show of hands here. How many of you have had friends who grew up in a hot rod family, and even though you’ll never admit it you were just a little jealous of them? You hated the fact that your friends dad’s had really cool cars that they eventually got to drive, but your dad thought the Mercury Sable or that Chevy Citation was the most practical car to hand down to you.

And your dad couldn’t quite understand the disappointed look on your face when he tried to give you a set of keys to the 84 Camry that your grandmother used to own. You know who you are, you’d ask your mom or dad to drop you off about a block or two away from where ever you going so no one would see you getting out of a crappy car.

Some kids get all the luck, like this teenager that we found on YouTube who got to drive her Dad’s 1969 Camaro with a 930 horsepower 540 Merlin Big Block. Her father, Dave, has a slew of videos on YouTube with the Camaro as the leading star. But in this video the star is his daughter, Amanda, who gets to drive the Camaro around in a parking lot.

Okay, so it’s not really the same as driving the car to the mall or to school once in a while, but still… how many of us got to drive a 930 horsepower car when we were a teenager, or at any age, for that matter? Dreaming doesn’t count, you had to be fully awake and not dressed in your jammies.
