BMR Buys Hotchkis Sport Suspension!

BMR Suspension, a long-time leader in the muscle car suspension parts business, has purchased Hotchkis Sport Suspension, Street Muscle Mag has learned. BMR has been expanding its portfolio of late to include brands such as Heidts Suspension and Control Freak Suspension, but this still came as a bit of a surprise.

“Bringing Hotchkis Sport Suspension into the family alongside BMR Suspension and Heidts Suspension creates a unique synergy among three highly respected performance suspension brands,” says Allan Miller, president of BMR. “Together, we are building a stronger platform centered on premium products and American manufacturing.”

John Hotchkis, president of Hotchkis Sport Suspension, had this to say: “From the crazy idea more than three decades ago that muscle cars should actually handle, then designing, testing, and producing performance suspension systems, to our track days and autocross events — it’s been an amazing ride. Along the way, we helped change what people expected from American muscle and built a community around a shared passion for making them perform.”

As someone who has driven fully-built rides from both manufacturers, your author believes this could be a perfect marriage.
