It’s been a long time coming, but infamous body repopper, Dynacorn has finally released its ’70 Dodge Challenger body. Without a doubt, not aftermarket manufacturer’s product has kicked up more proverbial dust than Dynacorn’s remanufactured bodies. There was all that drama with General Motors and their ’69 Camaro body, and then there was all of the concern about VIN tags being swapped out and DMV licensing for “kit car” status. Yet, no matter the noise, Dynacorn’s diligence to producing complete recreations of some of the most lauded muscle cars in history continues.
A big portion of the Challenger’s final materialization can also be linked – surprisingly enough – to Fiat’s acquisition of Chrysler. Recently, the new management decreed that the licensing of recreation parts be broadened to allow aftermarket companies open range to repop vintage muscle car parts. It might not sound like much, but it actually means that more major aftermarket companies will be reproducing everything that you need – and have been waiting for for years – shortly!
