Among the elite and the celebrities in Hollywood, comes Jay Leno, a self-confessed car guy with multiple garages housing close to two-hundred cars somewhere in Southern California. In what seems like a never-ending series, comes yet another installment of Jay Leno’s Garage.
Jay has been collecting all types of cars from all over the world -ranging from an early 20th century Stanley Steamer car to a brand new, Indian-built Tata Nano. In his collection you’ll also find European exotics, classic Japanese cars, trucks, and our favorite, vintage muscle cars. We’ve covered a few of these examples in the past, but now it’s time for a new one.
Recently, Leno has picked up a ’63 Ford Falcon Sprint through a friend on BringaTrailer.com and has shared the details of it with the viewing audience. We love the early Falcons, so we took it upon ourselves to share Jay’s video with all of you.
This video is a little bit special though, since this is a car that he has wanted for fifty years. Jay gives us a bit of history on the Falcon, along with his connection to Falcons in general. Dating all the way back to ’62 when he was working at a Ford dealership, as a kid spending much of his time installing and removing hubcaps.
