Fragola Performance Systems is looking forward to setting the standards for “Real Street” aluminum hose ends for PTFE hose in 2013. 

The real street line of hose ends from Fragola Performance Systems promises to bring some convenience to racers and car builders by introducing a line of reusable aluminum hose ends designed specifically for the PTFE hose. While Fragola does not manufacture PTFE lined hose, they do have a partnership with Telefex, a major manufacturer of PTFE lined hose designed specifically for racing.

According to Fragola’s Jeff Stacy, “PTFE lined hose has a lot of uses in racing applications. It handles corrosive liquids like brake fluids as well as hot oil or power steering fluid. Nitrous Oxide isn’t a problem with PTFE lined hose either.”

While PTFE lined hose has found it’s place in racing and high performance street cars, there has been a need for hose end fittings that meet the same high standards. Fragola has solved that dilemma with the Real Street line of hose ends.

Fragola’s Technical Analyst, Brint McLellan explains,”These hose ends are a direct fit for our PTFE hose and eliminate any permeation issues that are common in aftermarket racing hose. What really makes these hose ends unique is the ‘double swivel’ design that allows the hose to be adjusted at the correct clock angle after installation.”

McLellan tells us, “The hose ends are manufactured of aerospace-quality aluminum to mil spec tolerances.” 

Available in AN-6 through AN-10 sizes, the Real Street hose ends come in various degrees of bends for that perfect fit. Finished with Fragola’s “bright dip” anodized black finish, the hose ends are completely manufactured in Southington, Connecticut, making them a full “Made in the USA” product. A fact that the company is very proud of.
