When it comes to instrumentation on a classic car or street rod, car owners sometimes want their gauges to be as individual as they are, to be as custom looking as the rest of the car. But when everyone else has the same thing, it’s kind of hard to be unique. Well, Classic Instruments has a solution for those who are looking to corner the market on unique gauges.

At SEMA this year, they introduced their new line of gauges that they call the Esquire Series, and they were clearly something that we haven’t seen before. Instead of the typical round gauges that we have seen in countless cars over the past few decades, Classic Instruments got the idea to square things up and released this full set of ‘square’ gauges.

Beautifully back lit with bright white LED, the chiseled edge of the plastic, layered gauge lights up perfectly at night. The machined aluminum bezel and warm grey color scheme give a great contrast to the cream backing. The Esquire Series  gauges add class and elegance to your dash. Available as a two, three, five or six gauge set, the Esquire Series provides you with all the sending units needed. With a speedometer and tachometer available, the remaining functions of volt, fuel, temp or oil pressure can be individual gauges or in a large combination gauge to match the speedometer and tachometer.

Some of the other instrument systems they had on display this year were the 1956 Ford F-100 gauge package, and the 1953-55 Ford Pickup and their new 1957 Chevy Authentic series design. With all of the cool gauge sets that were on display, it was difficult to decide which set looked the best, they were all winners.

Speaking of winners, SEMA always hands out awards to new innovations, unique products or over-the-top creations. There are dozens of award winners amongst the tens of thousands of new and exciting products on display at the show.
