PRI 2012: Hellwig’s New GM A-Body Adjustable Rear Sway Bar

For over 60 years, Hellwig Products has specialized in performance suspension control for your racing, street, off-road, and RV needs. Staying dedicated to their Made In America motto, Hellwig brings you sway control, load control and everything in between from right here in the states, so it should come as no surprise that they recently released a brand new suspension component just in time for PRI 2012. Introducing the new GM A-Body Adjustable Rear Sway Bar with integral end links and tailpipe mounts.

No matter what you’re planning to do with your GM A-Body, from cruising around town to autocross racing, street stability and better handling is a plus. With Hellwig’s brand new adjustable rear sway bar, you can get that and more from your classic Chevy. This is due to the relocation of the rear sway bar to the rear axle, allowing the free articulation of the car’s suspension.

While you’ve seen sway bars before that boast improved handling capabilities, the Hellwig sway bar setup brings a few things to your car that others don’t, including integral end links and special tailpipe mounts. These features not only tie your new sway bar into your existing suspension system smoothly with no extra components needed, they also allow for an easy fit and function with your existing exhaust system using patent pending hardware.

Once installed, you can adjust your sway bar stiffness using three different pre-drilled holes easily accessed on the undercarriage of your vehicle. This makes driving across town to the drag strip to race or for a mountain cruise simple to prepare and adjust for.

If you’re looking for a straight-forward way to improve the handling and performance of your GM A-Body, look no further than the new A-Body Adjustable Rear Sway Bar with integral end links and tailpipe mounts from Hellwig Products. Not only will you be doing your car a favor, you’ll also be doing your passengers one.
