For many automotive enthusiasts, the primary focus in aftermarket products is always on the components that produce a performance enhancement for their vehicle of choice. Things like superchargers, exhaust, cold air intakes, and more technical projects. But as anyone that’s ever taken pride in their performance car can attest, looks and longevity matter too, and that can come down to even your basic engine compartment components. Things like the relatively cheap coolant tanks, for example.

For that, Canton Racing Products produces a line of sharp looking coolant tanks, valve covers, caps, fill necks, and the like. Here at PRI, they’ve brought out their new Coolant Expansion Tanks designed for the 2011 Mustang. Made of .01″ tig welded aluminum, these tanks are stronger and more durable than the factory plastic coolant tank and won’t crack. Plus, the aluminum design just looks cool under the hood. This tank is a direct replacement for the factory piece using the stock mounts and location and is available in two neck designs: one that will accommodate the stock cap and another for a pressurized radiator-style cap. Caps are sold separately.
