Building cars is about personal expression- creating something you’ll enjoy regardless of what other people think. That’s obviously the case with this radically modified 1930 Model A. While it looks more like a manufacturer’s modern try at a hot rod-esque vehicle rather than a legitimate Ford Model A, this surprisingly original car can catch the eye even of its biggest critics. Check out the unique car in the video above that we found on autoevolution.com.
While this hot rod certainly has the stance of a Dodge Prowler, it is in fact a born-again 1930 Ford Model A.
Yes, it’s hard to believe that under all that pizzazz and those modern touches is a vintage Ford, but according to the sign that accompanies the vehicle, the body is of an all-steel Model A form.
With this video recently uploaded to YouTube we tracked the car down to British Columbia where it participated in the 2012 Nelson Road Kings Queen City Cruise. While some components on the car are unknown, we can tell you that it sports 26-inch Lexani wheels, disc brakes, modern xenon headlights encased in vintage housings, a Ford Deluxe Coupe front grill and suicide doors. Topping off this unique car is an exquisite black leather interior with custom dash and console, as well as an ostrich leather roof accessorized with chrome trim.
While certainly not showing of everyone’s taste, this hot rod is one of a kind. What do you think of this radically modified Ford Model A?
