Our friends at Speedhunters.com were able to hook up with the “H-Team” from Hotchkis Sport Suspension recently to take a drive with the mountains of Malibu. Hotchkis is a big believer in that cars should be driven hard and not just look cool at a car show.
Several Hotchkis-equipped rides were brought out to play including the 1970 “E-Max” Challenger, a 2010 Camaro, and even a couple of C-10 Chevy trucks! The drive ran through the Malibu mountains on a fairly rainy day and even gray skies couldn’t keep the car guys from going out to run their rides. Call us jealous.
Hotckhis Sport Suspension has been around for years and makes upgraded suspension components for seemingly every car out there, not just muscle cars. People that like to autocross Acura’s and BMW’s will have just as much luck finding something good from Hotchkis as the 1st Gen Camaro crowd will.
That being said, their muscle car portfolio is outstanding and offers something for GM A-bodies, B-bodies, F-bodies, and many more including the 2010 Camaro and ’67-’72 Chevy C-10 pickups.
Their Ford lineup of parts continues to grow and they’ve even supplied Jay Leno with hi-performance products for his ’66 Galaxie! Mopar fans are also covered with parts for the original E-body cars, the new Challenger, and even B-Body cars. They even put their kit on John Schneider’s personal General Lee! (We’re assuming that even high end Hotchkis suspension components aren’t jump proof, though.)
Enjoy the trip through the mountains!
