Whether you’re a country music fan or not, the name Tim McGraw probably conjures up images of acoustic guitars, cowboy boots and pickup trucks. But if you’re planning to go to one of McGraw’s concerts this year, don’t be surprised if you see a psychedelic colored modern Challenger in the mix of fans, beer tents and t-shirt stands.
That’s because, as we found out from CarBuzz.com, McGraw recently designed his own modern SRT Challenger and the car will be up for grabs as part of the 2013 Four Wheels to Freedom Sweepstakes sponsored by Pennzoil. How’s that for a crazy turn on country music?
While McGraw may live country songs on stage and in the studio, he’s a regular down-to-earth car guy at heart. So when SRT and Pennzoil teamed up to sponsor a Challenger designed by McGraw and influenced by his latest album, the country singer was hooked from the start.
The result is this technicolor 2013 SRT Challenger, complete with a 470hp 6.4L V8, Mopar 1970s TA-esque hood, corresponding bronze metallic trim and a brown leather interior featuring McGraw’s signature embroidered on the seat backs.
