When it comes to building and customizing our muscle cars, every little bit helps. When that little bit amounts to a bigger chunk, then it becomes even better, and MSD Performance is offering up some of those bigger chunks for seven weeks with their Lucky 7 promotion. For seven weeks, when you purchase a selected MSD product from an authorized dealer, you get a selected free part along with your purchase.

As an added bonus, by submitting your rebate to MSD you’re automatically entered to win a trip for two to the 2013 SEMA trade show in Las Vegas this fall. That gives you seven chances to enter, and the more rebates you send in, the better your chances are. But you know what they say: you can’t win if you don’t enter, and you can’t get your free parts without sending in your rebate.

This week, MSD is offering up a free Dual Plug Wire Separator Set (PN 8841) with the purchase of an MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires. This one is a no-brainer, because when you go with new spark plug wires you want to keep them organized and in place. MSD takes care of you in that regard with the third week of their Lucky 7 Rebates.

We showed you how MSD recommends that their universal spark plug wire set is assembled, including how to crimp the ends, how to cut the wires, and how to get the most out of your ignition wires. Whenever you upgrade your engine, whether it’s mechanical or ignition related, you can always benefit from having a new set of spark plug wires to replace the older wires, because getting the most from your upgrades also means getting the most from your ignition wires.

And keeping those wires routed through the engine bay properly, keeping them off of hot exhaust manifolds or headers, is important so that you won’t run into problems. MSDs Dual Plug Wire Separators are a great way to keep wires bound together, and they look great as well. Each kit contains 16 wire separators, which is plenty for most V-8 engines.

The universal 8.5mm Super Conductor Wire Sets include both standard and HEI boots for your application, and are available with straight, angled or 90-degree boots. The custom taylored kits will fit specific applications and are pre-cut to the lengths needed for each wire. The 8.5 wires  have a very low resistance without Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) due to the way the conductor is wound around the special center core.

How tight is the wire wound? So tight that there is over 40 feet of conductor wrapped into a single foot of plug wire. The outer sleeve is a blend of silicone and synthetic material that is highly resistant to typical temperatures found under the hood.
