Sitting in a corner in Phoenix, Arizona- such a fine sight to see. It’s a car my lord that needs to be restored. Um anyway, let’s move on from our lame attempt at an Eagles reference and show you this 1964 Plymouth Barracuda that we discovered while browsing through Craigslist.

In Phoenix, Arizona this virtually rust free 1964 Barracuda can be yours for only $4,000. This Barracuda has spent the last 20 years sitting in the back corner of a garage.

A potential buyer will be happy to know that the car has spent it’s entire life in California and Arizona. This means the body is rust free as it has only experienced the dry and arid climate of the south west.

This Barracuda was number #16 off of the St. Louis production line. Originally the car was Ruby red but it has long sense been painted flat black. The Interior is the original black seats, carpet and door panels. The car is powered by a V-8 hooked up to a 4 speed transmission. The owner didn’t say which V-8 but we are going to assume it’s a 273 but a 318 or a 340 could have been swapped in years prior. 

Judging by the looks of it this Barracuda is the perfect project platform for any Mopar fan. It’s low asking price means it will be a great Restoration project for a gearhead on a budget. Perhaps swap in a 440 and build a drag car or throw on some low profile tires to make a killer pro touring machine.
