Powermaster has some great news to share with you: a 140-pg. full-color catalog, charting the company’s extensive repertoire of parts and accessories relating to starters and alternators, is now available. There’s something in here for everyone’s tastes, given the fact that Powermaster has built up a massive inventory of awesome electrical products over the years. One look in this catalog, and there’s sure to be something your car could use.
For hot rod enthusiasts and resto-modders, Powermaster is proud to offer the PowerGEN line. The PowerGEN provides the looks of a generator with the output & reliability of an alternator, and offers one-wire operation.
PowerGEN for GM models, seen here in black and polished finishes.
The company engineered PowerGEN from the ground up to be one of the finest options for classic cars, and offers them in GM long and short style, Ford swingmount, and Ford ‘49 and up Flatheads. They can be had in a polished, chrome, or black appearance. Not only do these parts look great, but they live up to their name as well. With a reported output of 75 amps and 60 amps at idle, you can be sure that the PowerGEN is the right choice to offer you both style and reliability in equal measure.
As an added bonus, your hot rod or muscle car can now be fitted with a Satin Finish alternator. They’re perfect for anyone seeking a low-key custom touch to any tricked-out ride from the 1950s and 1960s.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, guys who enjoy the pleasures of the path less taken can equip their Ford, GM, or MOPAR (including Ram and Jeep) ride with some sweet alternators. Jeeps, for example, can sample from products that cover everything from CJs to Wagoneers to Cherokees.
The diesel guys get some love from Powermaster too. For them, the company offers its Ultra Duty line, which features encapsulated solenoid assemblies that deliver 260 lb.-ft. of torque to the ring gear. That’s a gain of 35 lb.-ft. of torque over stock starters, all while having the same amperage draw; hence, they’re more efficient and more powerful.
All this and more can be found in the downloadable catalog out now on the Powermaster website. Go there, see what’s cooking, then head over to Facebook to give them a like and stay updated on new developments.
