As one of the leading providers of fuel systems and related equipment to the aftermarket, Steve Matusek and his group of employees at Aeromotive are at the forefront of technology when it comes to providing enough fuel volume for a racecar. 

In fact, they had products on an impressive numbers of display cars at the recent SEMA Show held in Las Vegas last month. Most notable within the many cars on the SEMA floor was Tom Bailey’s incredible Project Sick Seconds Camaro, which won Hot Rod Magazine’s Drag Week earlier this year, a torture test of over 1,000 miles and five dragstrips within the span of five days – and he did it with Aeromotive products on board.

Not only did Sick Seconds win the grueling event, Bailey did it with the first-ever six-second elapsed time average, clipping off an incredible 6.83-second elapsed time average. ProCharger and Steve Morris engines provided the motivation, Aeromotive provided the fuel, and Bailey provided the bucketful of cash and the right foot.

Aeromotive’s products are also onboard Chevrolet’s COPO Camaro offering, seen on the SEMA floor front-and-center in the Chevrolet Performance booth. The COPO relies on one of Aeromotive’s Eliminator pumps mounted within a fuel cell to provide enough fuel supply for the three different engine offerings.

The COPO is Chevrolet’s answer to the successful Ford Cobra Jet program – which also just so happens to use an Aeromotive fuel system.
