When you’re building a race motor, sometimes the last thing that gets addressed is running your coolant lines and radiator hoses. There are times when the factory water necks just won’t cut it, or they won’t work with your new plumbing choices. This is where Peterson Fluid Systems can help with those needs.

They brought out some of their redesigned swivel water necks that allow for plenty of adaptability. Mike Morten said, “We’ve gotten a lot of requests for standard push-on fittings for the water necks, so we redesigned the neck to accept that option. It allows for the push-on for the radiator hose, or the current -16 or -20 fittings.”

The necks will swivel 360 degrees for alignment to the radiator hose, and is sealed internally with Viton seals, with an O-ring seal on the flange. They also include a secondary locking pin to retain the fitting.

Their water manifold is available with or without the filler cap, and is also adaptable for the -16, -20, or the push on fittings. These manifolds are great for blocks without the water crossover so that individual lines can be run. The billet aluminum manifold ends are welded to the center tube with the ability to change the fittings should your cooling system change. The four -10AN ports allow for a wide variety of adapter fittings, and it also features a 5/8-18 port for a mechanical temperature sender on the manifold itself.
