Ground Up Launches A New Website!

An inside look at the warehouse of Ground Up

Ground Up is a restoration parts supplier for Chevelle, Camaro, Nova, El Camino and G-Body. They just released a brand new website, which hosts a ton of great features to make your restoration that much easier!

Catching up with Paul Wolfer of Ground Up he told us that “the site has a much cleaner and simpler design.” After going almost a decade with the old platform, this new one is a huge improvement. In car enthusiast terms, they jumped from a stock straight-six engine to a built big-block!

One of the biggest downfalls for the old site is that each section, Chevelle, Camaro, Nova, El Camino and G-body were individual stores requiring individual log-ins. This meant you couldn’t easily order a bumper for your ’66 Nova and a rear seat cover for you ’70 Chevelle in one transaction. All the stores have been combined now, allowing you to purchase for multiple vehicles all at once.

There’s a laundry list of improvements for the site besides the combined shopping:

  • Improved navigation
  • Search by vehicle
  • More robust product search
  • Brand & manufacturer part numbers on product pages
  • Customers can leave product reviews
  • On the fly shipping estimator on product pages
  • Instructions and how-to videos on product pages
  • Multi image of products

A few of these improvements are still in the final stages of being developed, but will finish up shortly. For now, the new improved navigation will help you find just the right parts that you’re looking for. Hop onto the website here and give it a spin

What if you like holding a catalog and circling what parts to add to your wish list? Ground Up still prints new catalogs as well, with all the same great product as their website. All you have to do is click here for a free catalog to be sent straight to your doorstep.
