The Hot Rod Power Tour didn’t officially kick off until Saturday morning, but the unofficial start came the previous Friday afternoon when Hotckis Performance East held it’s open house and party.

Hotchkis Performance East is part of the Hotchkis Sport Suspension family, and besides helping to expan the Hotckis product line of high performance suspension components, HPE is also producing some incredible hot rods. We’ve been tracking their Dodge Dart build, and you can see that here.

The party was a chance to let customers, locals and anyone on the Power Tour stop by and tour the facilities. There was also great barbecue to be eaten (this is the South, after all), and Lou Santiago of Car Fix was on hand serving at emcee and giving away tons of door prizes. Besides the Hotchkis cars, there were also plenty of great cars parked all around the shop from people coming to enjoy the party, plus, another great shop, Bagshaw Metal Fabrication, is next door and they were also kind enough to let us check out what they had going on too.
