…Drivers will be able to hold a steady throttle when staging while controlling the rate the throttle opens to help achieve the perfect launch. — Scott Mitchell, Livernois Motorsports
These late-model performance vehicles continue to push the horsepower boundaries straight from the factory, so it’s getting increasingly difficult to put that power to the ground efficiently. As such, Livernois Motorsports developed a new progressive throttle enhancer designed explicitly for modern, drive-by-wire vehicles. This unit features a user-adjustable progression rate and contains an infinite amount of customizable sensitivity, not just pre-set options.
“With our new throttle enhancer, drivers will be able to hold a steady throttle when staging while controlling the rate the throttle opens to help achieve the perfect launch,” Scott Michell of Livernois Motorsport, said. “Drivers can focus on items like reaction time and driving the vehicle as opposed to worrying if they rolled into the throttle too quickly or too slowly.”
One of the most significant benefits of the MyCalibrator Progressive Launch Management Controller (PN LPP699060; $329.99) is it allows drivers to adjust their launch points to exactly where and when they need it. It also takes the guesswork out of how quickly to roll into the throttle at launch. When combined with a custom tune, the system can be calibrated to eliminate wheel spin and give drivers the edge they need off the line.
This new kit is available now via the official Livernois Motorsports website.
