United Pacific has been an industry leader for over three decades specializing as a premier manufacturer and wholesale distributor of more than 3,000 of today’s most buzz worthy after market products including LED lighting and specialty restoration items for the classic car, classic truck, muscle car, and hot rod market.
This year they showcased something truly special – their steel reproduction of the famous ’32 Ford 5-Window Coupe. It was definitely a treat checking out their booth, seeing these reproductions up close you could see the detail and quality that United Pacific instilled in these shells.
Sales manager Chris Thompson showed us these reproductions and explained a little about them with the utmost love and passion, “We’re known for things like our LED lighting but we’re so proud of how these came out that we dedicated most of our booth to it this year. We have more than five of these reproduction shells on display throughout SEMA’s various booths including the Ford one. They are now an official licensed product by Ford and that’s something special.”
Each of these shells begins with steel of equal or greater thickness as an original and each panel is stamped on handcrafted permanent steel dies to ensure every detail is preserved. Body shells are then coated in electro deposit primer inside and out. Complete hard wood assemblies are included and come pre-installed, these reproductions shine just like they came off the line back in the 30s.
If you happen to have a ’32 that you’re already restoring you’re in luck because United Pacific also sells individual components from the complete body – whether it’s a door, complete floor section, original style firewall, or even cowl side panels, United Pacific has the individual part for your needs.
Rod Authority could sit here and drool all day about this debut, all we have to say is that as a magazine and as individual car lovers ourselves this is something very special for both the consumer and the face of the classic automotive market.
