SEMA 2014: Whiteline Shows Off 2015 Mustang Sway Bars

Whiteline has been working diligently to Activate More Grip for the 2015 Mustang. The company focuses on the street performance enthusiast, and brought out some of their new products for the 2015 to this year’s SEMA show.

Using data from the SEMA Tech Transfer program, Whiteline has released a new set of sway bars for the 2015 Mustang to help improve handling. The front sway bar is a 35mm diameter with three-point adjustment. The rear unit is measures 24mm in diameter, also with three-point adjustment. “We’re giving Mustang owners tuneaability out of the sway-bars,” says Whiteline’s Andew Nolan.

The bars include adjustable end links, giving owners the ability to set the proper length, and also the perk of having new end links to install with their new sway bars. Whiteline is also including their maintenance free bushings, made with PTFE lining, so they won’t need to be relubricated. The company’s cool looking, and functional alloy lateral lock system.

The sway bars will work in conjunction with other Whiteline upgrades that are currently in development, and could be the foundational first modification for enthusiasts who enjoy wringing their Mustangs out on winding back roads as much as they love full throttle straight line blasts.

Other products are currently being developed as well, however Nolan says that they’ve not had enough testing and proving time with a S550 Mustang and those particular products to show them at this year’s show.

Whiteline is leaning on their extensive knowledge and experience with Ford’s Australian Falcon which has utilized an independent rear suspension system for over a decade. Nolan says that much of what the company has learned about that system’s performance will aid them in developing products for the S550 chassis. “We’re very knowledgable about where you can get tuning outcomes out of that suspension in those cars. We think most people will be impressed and see excellent results when using these products and the ones we have in development.”
