Air conditioning – heating – and any type of plumbing; we all know it’s a giant pain in the rear. With condensers, lines, fittings, hoses and refrigerant, it’s easy to lose track of how things started and where they will end. Fortunately, our friends at Vintage Air have simplified heating and A/C solutions for virtually every classic car around.
The cherry on top of this cool, refreshing sundae is the modern components used by Vintage Air in their systems, unlike what was manufactured decades ago when these cars were fresh off of the assembly line from Detroit. Rick Love of Vintage Air gives us the scoop on the company’s latest components available for Corvettes of nearly every generation.

Certainly, you’ll want to pair your new louvers with the company’s Eclipse Gen IV Control Panel, which is also new for this year.
“Ever heard of our ProLine Louvers?,” Rick enthused. “These are the latest in our lineup. As part of our all-new collection, we’ve introduced three new models – the Continental, the Bandit and the GT 3 louvers. All three iterations are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and they’re available in two separate finishes – clear and black – and both are anodized.”
Moreover, Rick says these new louvers feature a unique rotating center ball for effortless airflow direction. The 2.5-inch fitting used on these louvers is also compatible with all of Vintage Air’s A/C evaporation systems, too.
As we mentioned above, Vintage Air doesn’t just provide accessories for your A/C – they provide entire systems as well. Interested in learning more about its products? Checkout the company’s website here.
