The 2014 Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week schedule has been released, with a solid list of tracks located in the heartland of the country. In addition, this year is the tenth running of the event, and there are some special details to note for those of you who are planning to attend.

The event will take place from Sunday, September 7th through Saturday, September 13th, and on the last say of the event there will be a special heads-up racing event to take place.

Schedule:

• Sunday, September 7, 2014 – Registration/Test And Tune, Tulsa Raceway  Park, Tulsa, OK
• Monday, September 8 – Day 1 Racing, Tulsa Raceway Park
• Tuesday, September 9 – Day 2 Racing, Heartland Raceway Park, Topeka, KS
• Wednesday, September 10 – Day 3 Racing, Thunder Valley Raceway Park, Noble, OK
• Thursday September 11 – Day 4 Racing, S.R.C.A. Drag Strip, Great Bend, KS
• Friday, September 12 – Day 5 Finals, Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK
• Saturday, September 13 – Special 10th Anniversary Drag Week Heads-Up Event, Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK

The details on the special event have not been released as of yet by the Drag Week staff, but they promise forthcoming information in the next week or two. Specific race times are also not announced at this time, but we’ll bring you all of those details as soon as we have them. As always, spectators are welcome at each stop of the event. 

The winners of the top three positions from the 2013 running of the event will receive an email shortly with a special limited-time link that allows them to register online in advance of the general registration period. 

For 2014, the event is expected to be limited to the first 260 entrants. Check back with us as we’ll bring you more details as they become available.
