It’s been over a year since news of a modern Chevelle SS resurrection broke the internet. That re-envisioned Chevy legend was brought to life as the 2024 Chevelle 70/SS. It’s produced by Trans Am Worldwide, the Florida-based company responsible for reviving iconic classics of the muscle car era into present-day interpretations. With social posts and YouTube videos revealing  deliveries taking place around the world, Tod Warmack, Director and Co-Founder of Trans Am Worldwide, drops new info with updates on the newest contemporary classic comeback – the 2024 Chevelle 70/SS.

Sneak Peak of The Chevelle 70/SS Mods Coming SEMA 2024 

Although SEMA is just in the rearview, Warmack and the Trans Am Worldwide team are full-bore ahead with plans for the 2024 event. “I fully expect at SEMA this year, we will have a hardtop version of the Chevelle and another one with metal chrome bumpers,” he revealed. “We are always making rolling changes and have already gone back to the drawing board.”

He confirmed the hardtop Chevelle 70/SS is already in process. “We are in next week to approve the headliner,” added Warmack. “Once that’s done, we will get a mold and start putting out our Chevelle Hard Top.”

Fluttering the hearts of those that dig on retro-cool, the leaked chrome bumpers will obviously bring a whole other level to the new Chevelle’s modern muscle car magic. And for those that don’t want to wait until November 2024 to drool over mods on the new 70/SS, Warmack hinted more were coming.

“There are some Chevelles that are extremely unique in process; but it just takes time to get this stuff out,” he said. “By the time we have the idea, to the time it hits the streets, it could be a month or more before the public actually sees it.”

The Trans Am Worldwide 2024 Chevelle 70/SS returns to life with inspiration from the OG 1970 Chevy Chevelle. The 1970 second-gen Chevelle was defined as “America’s Most Popular Mid-Size Car”, and the SS 454 is arguably known as the “King of the Muscle Cars.”  It continues to be one of the most coveted vehicles of the period.
