At the SEMA Show, it seems everywhere you turn there’s an amazing build, but this specific one happened to catch our eye. This immaculate 1961 Oldsmobile F-85 was spotted sitting in K&N‘s booth, surround by dozens of picture-taking people, we might add. Like many others, we spotted it and immediately fell in love–no doubt all of you would want a look at this thing.
Everything up until this point has consisted of sneak-peeks and renderings since the builder, Jesse of Greening Auto Company, chose to debut the car at the show.
It is powered by a Black Label LS7 from Mast Motorsports and is pushing around 700 horsepower. Under the hood, it features a fully-machined aluminum block, Mast LS7 305cc cylinder heads, a Harrop Hurricane individual throttle body manifold, two K&N panel air filters, and Baer brakes.
Don’t judge this car purely by its looks, though, as this isn’t just your typical show car. It carries aftermarket front suspension and independent rear suspension. Its power is put to work with an upgraded GM 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission.
The aesthetics are perfectly executed, not only in the engine bay, but in the interior and exterior as well. The immaculate pitch black paint job is accentuated with understated red accents throughout. The interior is simple, yet stylistic and perfectly tied to the rest of the vehicle.
The wheels where designed and manufactured in-house by Greening and are an excellent finishing touch.
