At 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, there isn’t a single mass-produced automobile on the road that can even touch the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. It’s a car so good, that the only thing better than one Challenger Hellcat is two. Still not enough? Why not toss a third Hellcat into the mix, for a grand total of 2,121 horsepower, 1,950 lb-ft of torque, and more fun than one man can handle.
Lease Rates enlisted some skilled videographers to put together a quick-but-fun clip of a threesome of Challenger Hellcats shredding rubber on open roads. While obviously a commercial for leasing company Lease Rates, it definitely caught our attention, which is what commercials are supposed to do. That said, do not, we repeat, do NOT try this at home.
Of course, that’s assuming you actually have access to a trio of Challenger Hellcats, which is a feat in and of itself. Most of us will probably have better luck securing a French-style threesome than ever actually owning three Challenger Hellcats, but it’s still a dream many of us will stubbornly hold onto. In fact, why not just get a Hellcat in every color and configuration while we’re at it?
The Charger and Challenger Hellcats have given Fiat-Chrysler a high-profile hit at a time when it’s faced with recalling millions of cars and paying hundreds of millions in punitive fines. Yet we can forgive hacking scandals as long as FCA keeps building us cars like the Hellcat. 707 horsepower wrapped in the sexy sheet metal of modern American muscle buys a good will from Mopar fans, and maybe even enough for these recall woes to quietly go away.
