American Racing is excited to announce its latest addition to the lineup: the Vintage Forged line, which combines the best facets of wheel design to give you a product that’s strong, lightweight, and a genuine American-made article.

“American Racing has been in motorsport since the 1950s, and these two-piece forged styles are a return to our heritage,” says Chris Plump, sales manager for the Wheel Pros Custom Shop.

Made from 6061 forged aluminum, enthusiasts will find the wheels to be a fine piece of craftsmanship to add to their classic hot rod or street rod.

For looks, you can choose from eleven different styles–from the sexy, twisted five-spoke VF489, to the subdued “kidney bean” VF493. Distinctive and giving off a best-in-show quality, these wheels are an homage to the looks that have made American Racing an industry icon since 1956.

What’s more, the VF wheels introduce many two-piece configurations for pro-touring enthusiasts, and pack plenty of clearance to better accommodate larger brake kits. Custom backspacing options allow for further variation, giving you the benefit of choosing–down to 1/8 of an inch–just how you want your wheels to look.

All styles can come in either a polished steel appearance or finished in a color of your choice. However you like them, American Racing is here to say you can have your wheels and design them too.
