American Racing Makes Its Presence Known At Goodguys Del Mar

American Racing 3

A couple of weeks back, we got the chance to visit the Goodguys Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals held in beautiful and sunny Del Mar, California. There, we got to see some of the West Coast’s best customs competing head-to-head. Among these included Ron and Deb Cizek’s “Checkered Past,” and the ’67 Fairlane Country Squire wagon belonging to Brayton Matheson.

Brayton’s Fairlane in particular makes use of the Torq Thrust style wheels that American Racing and Wheel Pros have made famous to our nation’s rod and custom landscape, and American Racing was proud to make a presence at this year’s Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals.

Since being founded in 1956 as a leading manufacturer of aluminum and magnesium pieces for the diehard hot rodder, American Racing has become one of the custom wheel market’s chief pioneers. With all of the super cool specimens of rod and custom that made their appearance in Del Mar, we’re not at all surprised that American Racing became part of the sights and sounds adding their lovely model to the mix.

The Torq Thrust style is one that has become synonymous with some of our most cherished rod and muscle classics, and American Racing offers custom wheels that range from Shelby American racing to salt flat solid. So whether you’re building for Willow Springs or Bonneville, American Racing and Wheel Pros have got you covered.

Cliff Cunningham’s ’10 Challenger R/T, covered in “Inferno Red,” makes use of American Racing’s Classic Series. Some of the Del Mar National’s rides have been lucky enough to be adorned with American Racing’s best, so stay tuned to see more of American Racing’s cars and models in our upcoming Babe Of The Month.

American Racing and Wheel Pros are there to satisfy your every custom wheel need; be sure to hit ’em up when you’re in the market for a cool, new set of rollers for your ride.
