In a recent video by muscle car builder Dave Salvaggio, Dunham spoke of his passion for muscle cars, tracing it back to his fascination with Hot Wheels. His latest acquisition, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, represents the pinnacle of his collection — boasting a staggering 1,025 horsepower.

Dunham, the proud owner of Demon #0013, reminiscent of the original Demon in his possession, reasons the addition of the powerful car to his collection, asking, “How do you resist having something like this?”

Upon acquiring a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, owners are granted the opportunity to personalize their vehicles with a range of bespoke, limited-edition items, intricately linked to the unique VIN number of each car. Courtesy of the Dodge//SRT Concierge team, complimentary offerings include custom decanter sets, personalized badging, premium car care products, and an exclusive two-day drag racing class.

Moreover, owners are afforded access to an array of optional performance enhancements engineered and crafted by Direct Connection, tailored specifically for drag racing and track enthusiasts. With these upgrades installed on Dunham’s vehicle, Salvaggio facilitated a hands-on experience for the comedian at Irwindale Speedway, underscoring the importance of understanding the vehicle’s dynamics and harnessing its power power safely and responsibly.

Salvaggio facilitated Dunham’s initiation to the track, noting the characteristic wheelies synonymous with Demon models and stressing the importance of drivers being prepared to manage such occurrences for their own safety and that of others. “It’s a massively powerful car and drivers need to know how to use it safely and under control to get the maximum fun from their Demon 170,” says Salvaggio.

“We prepped the eighth-mile track and Jeff was doing wheelies almost immediately!” Salvaggio continues.
