The smell of burning fuel fills the air as the supercharged big block Chevy is fired to life. As the throttle is stomped to the floor, a sound so sweet and powerful could be heard thundering through the stratosphere. Hop into the drivers seat, grip the steering wheel white-knuckle-tight and prepare to be pushed back into your seat as you enjoy a wild ride in this 1967 Camaro RS Pro Street machine. This week’s Craigslist find is sure to make you drool a little.

Construction began on this pro street monster when the Camaro was stripped to it’s bare metal and a 12-point roll cage was installed. The rear end was narrowed to make room for the massive Mickey Thompson tires and the hefty 12 bolt rear end. Since this is a pro street car with a focus on drag racing, a ladder bar rear suspension with Afco double adjustable shocks and a rear sway bar were installed to keep the car straight while blazing down the quarter mile.

Underneath the chin is a front suspension made up of tubular control arms and Afco double adjustable shocks. For stopping power, 12 inch Corvette disc brakes were installed to bring her to a halt. The blue and silver paint scheme truly sets off this unique build.

Powering this beast is a massive forged Dart big-block Chevy engine. We do not have displacement or power specs at this time as the owner has kept these numbers classified. We do however, have the build specs which include a hefty forged steel crankshaft, forged rods with 9 to 1 compression, a full roller cam and Dart heads. On top of the motor is an 8-71 Weiand supercharger which produces enough strength to inhale a whale.
