Want to attend a Goodguys Rod & Custom Association event across the country this year, but you don’t want to drive there all alone in your custom car? Well, you can join a “Ya Gotta Drive ‘Em” Cruise put together by the association for the 2012 race and show season. Not only do these cruises give you plenty of support along your cross-country drive, they also provide a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of a custom car convoy headed to five national events.
The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association kick starts their 2012 season with their 3rd Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona the weekend of March 9th. With the season fast approaching, Goodguys has decided to offer enthusiasts a new way to participate in Goodguys events.
The “Ya Gotta Drive ‘Em” Cruises are being offered for five events across the country.
The first cruise will leave from Pleasanton, California on March 28th and will make the 450-mile trip to Del Mar for the 12th Del Mar Nationals.
The next event you can cruise to is the 7th Nashville Nationals. For this event, two cruises will be headed to Nashville, Tennessee.
One will leave from Greenwood, Indiana and make a 275-mile trip, while the other cruise will leave from Johnson City, Tennessee and make a 300-mile trip. Both cruises will leave on May 17th.
Up next is one of the longer cruises announced so far for the 2012 season. This cruise will leave Pomona, California and head 1,035 miles Northeast to Loveland, Colorado for the 15th Colorado Nationals. The cruise departs Pomona on June 4th in order to make the June 8th show date.
You can also catch a cruise from Des Moines, Iowa to the 15th Goodguys Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. The cruise will leave Des Moines on July 2nd and make the 650-mile trip to the event that starts on July 6th.
Cruises will be headed all over the country for five national Goodguys events
The final cruise that has been announced will be from Pomona, California to Puyallup, Washington for the 25th Pacific Northwest Nationals. Cruisers will leave Pomona on July 22nd and make the 1,135-mile journey to Puyallup for the event that starts on July 27th.
The “Ya Gotta Drive ‘Em” Cruises are a great way to get out and have a little road-trip fun in your custom cars while having companionship on the road from other custom car owners. The cruises also help give you piece of mind that you’ll have knowledgeable help on hand if you do break down while traveling to a national Goodguys event. One more “big cruise” will be announced later in the season.
