Dakota Digital Introduces RTX Series For 1958-’82 Corvettes

One of the challenges with performing an LS swap on an older vehicle is getting all of the gauges to work. Most of the time, the old gauges are shot and need to be replaced anyway. When you combine this dilemma with running extra sensors, resistors, and adapters, it certainly adds to the complexity of installing a GM LS or LT powerplant in a classic. And while you could replace the factory units with racy-looking aftermarket gauges, many people prefer the look of the stock pieces. So what do you do?

The Retrotech series gauges might look factory, but they are loaded with technology and are fully customizable.

If you’re looking to upgrade to a modern engine in your 1958-’82 Chevy Corvette, a stylish factory-appearing aftermarket gauge cluster is no longer a problem. Dakota Digital now offers the Retrotech (RTX) series. The RTX series is the latest from the company that offers state-of-the-art technology combined with an OEM look that is sure to fool most at a car show. These instruments are loaded with cool features that become obvious as soon as the ignition switch is turned on.

Dakota Digital said, “When opening the vehicle’s door, the vintage-looking rolling odometer provides a stock appearance. However, turning on the ignition, the thin film transistor (TFT) display message center can be fully configured to display just about any piece of information needed, from the complimentary home screen layout to the user-configurable data group screens.”

Features:

  • Thin film transistor (TFT) display
  • CNC Machined Housing
  • Custom electronics built in house
  • Bluetooth integration
  • GPS Technology
  • RGB backlighting
  • Full-color TFT display

Here you can see the TFT display screen and all of the warning lights, including check engine, cruise control, high beams, just to name a few.

Be sure to check out the Retrotech series from Dakota Digital. While these gauges may look like a classic design, they are jam-packed with enough technology to bring your car into the digital age. For more information on these products and others, be sure and check out Dakotadigital.com
