If you’ve been keeping up with our coverage of the recent SEMA and PRI Shows, you’ve certainly seen some of the exciting new products that Dart has ushered in for 2012, not the least of which is the new, very affordable SHP aluminum cylinder head. These new cylinder heads are designed as an option for those building street engines with the weight benefit of aluminum, without the typical expense of aluminum heads. These pieces are 100% cast, machined and assembled in the USA, like every product from Dart.
Other new products include:
Small Block Ford Iron Eagle Heads with 200cc Intake Runners
Expanding their ford line, Dart recently created these 200cc Iron Eagle heads, featuring a large runner size that opens up more build options to those wishing to build bigger small block engines.
Pro1 Oval Port BBC Heads With 110cc Chambers
Premium alloy heads, inspired by Pro Stock designs, with rolled valve angles, improved spark plug location, extra long intake valves, raised exhaust ports, and fast burn chambers.
5-Inch Bore Space Big Chief Heads
Dart has taken the Big Chief to the next level by upping the bore spacing to 5-inches, allowing this new head to accommodate a 4.750-inch bore size. The result is some massive power potential.
Limited quantities are available of a 305 small bore version of Dart’s SHP block. These blocks are intended to give racers in classes that require stock displacement the option of utilizing a high performance block.
If you’re a performance boater, these heads are for you. Dart recently released their redesigned Dart Pro1 head for Mercury Racing 525 style engines, and this new head offers compatibility with this setup with added performance and durability.

Dart has made a selection of intake manifolds from Indy Cylinder Heads available to compliment their BBC heads. Designed for use on supercharged engines, these intakes offers stellar performance on combinations using standard Dart BBC heads, Dart 18-degree oval port heads, or Big Chief oval ports.
