Their Corvette giveaway is coming to a close, as the last day to enter for the sweepstakes is December 31, 2018 at 11:59 EST. You have less than a week to secure your chance at winning both of these awesome Corvettes!
They are offering these two Corvettes to the lucky individual whose name is picked as the winner of the ultimate Corvette giveaway. The winning name will be announced on January 17, 2019. That lucky individual will then be invited to the Dream Giveaway headquarters in Clearwater, Florida and be awarded their two Corvettes at an award ceremony with special guest Ken Lingenfelter on February 11th. As an additional bonus, the folks at Dream Giveaway will pay $50,000 in taxes so the winner actually has THREE reasons to be happy!
Both Corvettes are Arctic White with red interiors.
At the award ceremony, they will be handed the keys (and applicable key fob) to both a 1965 Corvette coupe and a 2018 Corvette Grand Sport. Both cars have been breathed-upon by the trained technicians at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and feature even more horsepower to keep the winner’s spirits bright all year long.
The 1965 Corvette Sting Ray
Classic lines with the updated chassis means you can enjoy this Corvette without compromise when comparing it to its sibling Grand Sport.
The midyear has all the classic lines of the original, but brings the added driveability and performance of a Street Shop Inc. chassis, featuring an upgraded LS3 engine. Lingenfelter installed their head and cam package and performed the tuning to give the fuel-injected engine around 550 horsepower. The C4 Corvette-based aftermarket frame is coupled with a 5-speed overdrive manual transmission and coil-over suspension, which makes enjoying each one of those 550 horses is as simple as turning the key.
The red leather interior retains that classic Sting Ray styling.
When you do twist the key on this classic-styled steed, you’ll be greeted by those great-sounding side-pipes that keep the exhaust note within reason, but allow for that upgraded cam to breathe in a language that is music to the ears. This car is just as capable of cruising the boulevard as it is hitting the open highway, and thanks to the additional power brakes, steering and air-conditioning, you’ll be just as comfortable as you are cool.
Throaty side-pipes give that LS3 engine a performance sound while the C4 Corvette-based Street Shop Inc. chassis helps get each of those 550 ponies to the ground.
The vintage version is painted Arctic White with a red interior and matches its younger stablemate both inside and out. There is also a red “stinger” on that big-block hood and with the sounds emanating from those side-pipes, you’d be hard pressed to prove otherwise. Altogether, the resto-mod portion of this Corvette giveaway has all of the vintage styling and classic lines that made these cars the icons that they are, but also gives the lucky winner a foundation that upgrades its driveability and performance. No matter which car they choose to drive, they’ll have plenty of fun and power to put a smile on their face.

The 2018 Lingenfelter Corvette Grand Sport
The 2018 Grand Sport has all the creature comforts and amenities that you would expect from a brand-new Corvette, but that’s only a starting point for what would become the second-half of this dream giveaway. Starting with an Arctic While 2018 Grand Sport featuring an Adrenaline Red interior. The folks at Lingenfelter then added their heads and cam package (as well as tuning) to boost the LT1’s output from 460 to 600 horsepower!
Lingenfelter supported the cause with a heads and cam package for the LT1 in the Grand Sport as well as the LS3 in the Sting Ray.
Behind that engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission and 3.42:1 limited-slip differential. Some may wince at the presence of an auto in this car, but selecting a self-shifter broadens the appeal of the package, and if you feel the need to stretch your left leg, you can always take the midyear for a spin. Other options include the 3LT (Premium Equipment Group), CFV (Carbon Fiber Visible Package), YET (Carbon Flash Badge Package), J6G (Custom Caliper Color – Red) and Q8Z (Grand Sport Aluminum Wheels).
The Grand Sport also has a red interior, and also all of the electronics that a 2018 Corvette provides its occupants.
On that platform, the Dream Giveaway staff selected their own unique exterior styling and badging that includes an aftermarket carbon-fiber package from ACS Composite. With the addition of the Lingenfelter heads and cam package to the 2018 Grand Sport, you’ll likely have a hard time deciding which Corvette is more fun to drive. We got in a little seat-time of the Grand Sport on our way to get some photos and enjoyed the presence of the additional power, even in the stop-and-go traffic around Florida during the winter months. Even at one of the many red lights we encountered, the presence of a warmed-over cam could be felt as the car settled into a nice, soothing dance as the rpm dropped back down to idle.
The sound emanating from the exhaust rivaled anything its younger sibling could muster and at full-song, the car seems to leap forward faster than the sound it projects. We enjoy rowing through the gears and the paddle-shifted 8-speed does allow a certain level of input as to the desired timing of up, and down-shifts. But, as mentioned, traffic can put a cramp in the most clutch-friendly calf muscle and we were happy to let the car’s electronics do the shift scheduling for us.
