We all know that Chargers are famous for having the famous “Coke Bottle” shape that kept them slippery on the race track, but this particular Charger takes it to the next level as a promotional car for Coca Cola and is now for sale on eBay.
The ’69 that you see here was updated with all new AMD Mopar sheetmetal before being converted into a rolling Coce Cola tribute, and then it’s incredible paint scheme was applied by Atlanta artist Steve Stanley.
His vision was to create the green Coke Bottle style glass color on the nose of the car, and then turn the remainder of it into a vintage red Coke machine. Luckily though, that wasn’t the end of the Coca Cola inspired options on the car!
The trunk features an icy cooler that can hold 300 bottles of Coke, the console can store another couple bottles, and bottles can be opened on the pop top gas cap! Not enough Coke, you say? Simply look to the custom 5-spoke wheels and notice that those really aren’t spokes at all, but instead are billet Coke bottles!
The drivetrain of the Charger is all business with a 440 “Coke” 6-pack under the hood, and official “Coca-Cola” burping sounds are made when the hood is closed (really). Braking is handled by Stainless Steel Brakes (SSBC), and it runs and drives like a new Charger.
This car was has been featured in multiple automotive magazines, trade shows, has paced recent NASCAR races, and was also a display at the Coca-Cola World Headquarters in Atlanta. We can’t think of a better way to showcase an American Classic like Coca Cola than to showcase it on another American classic – a ’69 Charger!
