The Trans Am being sold is a Y82 Special Edition. It came with Hurst T-tops, rare rear center console, W72 engine and four-speed manual transmission which are all still included on the car. The Trans Am is in virtually new condition with only 47,000 miles on the odometer. The car is sure to get loads of attention wherever it is driven with the interior and exterior in pristine condition.
If you’re interested in bidding on this rare Trans Am, you have until May 29th. As of the evening of May 24th, the reserve had not been met with 28 bids placed. In the seller information, it states that the company won’t tolerate any low-ballers. They weren’t kidding with the high bid of $39,999 placed on Tuesday not meeting the reserve. The company is also selling two ‘77 Special Edition Trans Ams with automatic transmissions if you would rather not have a four-speed.
