eBay Find: Trio of First-Gen Camaros the Ultimate Project Package

The start of a new year means a fresh start for your project cars, but if you don’t have an current project underway, eBay Motors has plenty to choose from. While this certainly isn’t a surprise to anyone who has ever ventured onto the online auction site, the 2013 season seems to be bringing increasingly more unique projects forward, such as these three first-generation Camaros being sold as a project package of sorts. Sure, this selling of three vintage first-gen project cars could ultimately be the result of fear of the fiscal cliff, but no matter the reasoning, someone could score themselves a mighty fine trio of project Chevys for 2013 if they act fast.

The three first-gen Camaros being sold out of Bloomington, California are a respectable bunch. A 1967 with original interior, 1968 factory RS car and a 1969 X44 base Camaro. Each is said to still maintain its original quarter panels, floors and trunk pans with very little rust (these aren’t East Coast cars). All window glass remains intact, besides the windshield in the ‘68, which will need to be replaced. The ‘68 also comes with many of the front end pieces disassembled.

Beyond decent bodies, all three Camaros come with separate engines and transmissions, including a 350ci 4-bolt main-0010 engine and a Turbo 400 transmission for the ‘69. The ‘67 and ‘68 also come with 4-bolt main engines and Turbo transmissions. If you’d like something a bit heftier for the cars, the lot can also be paired with a number of big-block engine options for an additional charge.

Needing a bit of work, these first-gen Camaros could be made into some remarkable pro-touring Chevys.

Adding to the appeal of these three project cars are disc brakes on the ‘68, drums on the ‘67 and ‘69, and Rally wheels for both the ‘67 and ‘68 (or Centerlines if you’d rather for the ‘67). The lot also comes with a powder coated subframe. Not a bad deal for a lot that’s currently sitting below the reserve price at $14,200

While these cars certainly need quite a bit of work, purchasing three-in-one will give you the pick of the litter when it comes to which first-gen you’d like to work on first. The auction of these cars ends on Monday January 7th, so get your bids in quick for this unique package deal, or go through the rest of 2013 with the regret of not jumping on this opportunity.
