Energy Suspension Transmission Mounts-Street Manners And Durability

With the end of racing season, performance upgrades or engine rebuilds are on the horizon. Increasing horsepower and torque is a great goal for over the winter months, but there are other items that need consideration thanks to performance enhancements. Thanks to Energy Suspension, these upgrades can be fully utilized without the fear of parts failure down the road.

One area that almost always requires some attention is the transmission mount. Typically, a transmission upgrade coincides with a serious power increase, but this becomes the time where one needs to pay attention to the transmission mount options. Energy Suspension offers transmission mounts that are designed to survive the rigors of racing while maintaining street manners. These mounts are able to absorb vibrations making your project capable of street usage while maintaining a comfortable ride.

On the performance side, these mounts are made from Energy Suspension’s HYPER-FLEX polyurethane material to increase durability during competition or off-road usage. HYPER-FLEX polyurethane material stands up to fluids, such as coolant or oil. Standard materials and hardware are not able to provide the durability of basic rubber mounts. When compared to metal transmission mounts, Energy Suspension’s offering provides vibration dampening and longer life. This material combined with the heavy duty hardware and patented metal safety locking feature are designed to help control torque. With the addition of power adders or performance engines, torque is bound to increase thus creating a need for enhanced endurance.
