Get ready Southern Californian residents, because for three days Ontario will be hosting its biggest classic car show of the year–Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion. According to a release from the event coordinators, “The September event is set to attract a quarter of a million car aficionados and 2,000 vintage autos for three days of live music, entertainment, food, and milestone 50th anniversary celebrations of the iconic Mustang and GTO.”

Southern California, being the hot bed for vintage automobiles that it is, will surely bring in droves of car owners to this event. From musclecars of the 60s and 70s, to hot rods and kustoms, bombs and lowriders–historic Euclid street will be the epicenter of a nostalgic trip down memory lane for three whole days.

“In addition to the world’s largest nighttime neon light cruise featuring a dazzling ‘moving light show on wheels’ for which some participants have spent years producing specially lit vehicles, other highlights of this year’s event include: show-n-shines, 50th anniversary celebrations of the Mustang and GTO, a poker run traveling along historic Route 66, model car contests, Von Hot Rod’s Shindig including pinstriping Circus and Nostalgia Rod & Kustom display, headliner performers (TBA), and more.”

They had us at nighttime neon light cruise. What better way to kick-off the night than to hang back with buddies, family, some food and beers all to the surreal site of a neon light parade? From there the party has only begun, the night will surely be rife with festivities throughout the city of Ontario, California.
