If you’re a Northern California native or visiting the area you’ll definitely want to make a stop in Antioch, California for Billetproof’s NorCal event this weekend. The show is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st. The event will be hosted at the Antioch Fairground located on 1201 West Tenth Street, Antioch, California. It will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature 1,000 vehicle entries. Admission is $10 for general entry, free for kids under 13, police officers, and fire officials with proper identification.
Pre-registration has been filled but the folks at Billetproof will be welcoming at-the-gate registration on a first come first serve basis. This year the entry total will be strictly limited to 1,000 vehicles so once that quota has been met they will cut off registration. Admins on the Billetproof website have suggested that those wishing to enter come before noon as they are projecting registration to be filled by then.
The following are just a couple of the features that will be present at this year’s Antioch show – Indoor vendors, artist booths, a pinstripe panel jam, live bands throughout the day, a pinup contest, a pinup dunk tank, and an auto swap meet.
As for post show entertainment the Delta Blues Festival will be occurring Saturday night in downtown Antioch. The festival is free admission. You can check out more info on that event through the link above.
As you can surmise from the name of the folks putting this show together there’s a clear demographic of car that they cater to. This PSA is straight from the keyboard of the authorities at Billetproof, “No billet-clad, digital gauge, pastel graphic, named after a fifties song trailer queens!” If you have any questions about details concerning entry requirements check out their Rules and FAQ page.
