You’ve heard of Kustomrama, the Traditional Rod and Kustom Encyclopedia, and you’ve heard of The Race of Gentlemen, but for the first time this fall, the two will come together to present an additional car-lovers’ event in the form of the Customs By the Sea show. This gathering of traditional custom cars from all decades is sure to be the custom car event of the year, so be sure to check your calenders and start planning your trip to New Jersey today!
On the weekend of October 3rd, Kustomrama will celebrate traditional customs with the Customs By the Sea Custom Car Show in cooperation with The Race of Gentlemen and the Oilers Car Club. Set to be held in the parking lot by the boardwalk in Wilwood, New Jersey, this traditional customs event will be front and center for the annual Race of Gentlemen, as well as provide an array of classic customs for race participants and area car enthusiasts to enjoy.
At the heart of the show will be a historic custom car exhibit. Surrounding this, period-correct traditional customs will be organized with a special custom creations parking area, open to all kinds of custom rides no matter what the style, at one side of lot. The period-correct traditional custom parking area is predicted to fill up fast, as there are only a certain number of spots available, so Kustomrama encourages all those interested in participating to pre-register their vehicles as soon as possible.
Because this is a traditional customs show, there are specific definitions that every car being registered for the period-correct parking area must adhere to, which Kustomrama has laid out on their website. (Definitions can be accessed through the event’s info page). After all, if you’re not rolling in a traditional custom by definition, it may affect where you get to park for the entirety of the show.
Both the Customs By the Sea Custom Car Show and The Race of Gentlemen kick off on October 3rd for 2014, so be sure to secure your spot in the rodders’ dream event today!
