Norm Floyd’s Rod Run & Custom Extravaganza will be held on September 7th and 8th at the Shops at Dos Lagos in Corona, California. This is going to be a special two day event because aside from the 800+ classic rides that are expected to be in attendance the extravaganza will also play host to some of the biggest legends in the rod and custom world. Although pre-registration ended on the 17th of August there’s still time to register for the show. You can complete an entry form if you’re interested in showing your vehicle here. The event is limited to pre-1975 American made vehicles. Spectators get to enjoy the sights and sounds of the show free of charge as this is an all-comers free admission event. According to the event homepage, proceeds from raffles, entry fees, and vendor costs will be donated to the Right Now Foundation for Children and Veterans.
Aside from the car show, visitors will get to enjoy live music, a slew of vendors, and a ’50s contest held for lady’s pinup and men’s hairstyle categories. One of the highlights for the event will definitely be the impressive lineup of industry legends that will be in attendance walking the grounds, conversing with visitors, and signing autographs.
