With its Powerglide transmission, power steering and air conditioning, the car is said to be a truly pleasant cruiser. 

The interior has been completely redone and is simply beautiful, and updated with a CD/DVD audio system using Infinity Kappa speakers and a sub-woofer to crank out your favorite tunes. We talked to the owner who told us that he bought the car eight years ago, but has only put about 1,000 miles on the car. His intent was to build the car into a daily driver so it was never lowered and there are no radical exhaust mod’s that would make it loud and uncomfortable to cruise.

The car rides on 18-inch wheels up front and 20’s in the rear. However, the real exterior work is the stunningly gorgeous paint job accented with pinstripes and Impala logo on the tailfins. The paint work alone is estimated at more than $20,000 in value by the owner. The body is laser straight and shows off the paint with a mirror-like sheen. The owner told us that prior to his purchase the Impala was used at a university to teach automotive painting and body work.

We found the car posted on E-Bay at $34,000. Some of us in the office are shaking our piggy banks, but no luck yet!
