Just a few days ago, Chevrolet released the first image of the all-new C8 Corvette Z06. And while the picture certainly gives us an idea of what the car will look like, the lack of luster of the silver paint against the greyish asphalt background certainly leaves something to be desired. But fortunately, there are people with crazy Photoshop skills out there who can quickly manipulate the car, in this case, the Z06, to give us a better idea of what it could look like with various paint options. 

This is the original “leaked” photo from Chevrolet about a week ago showing the all-new C8 Z06 in silver.

Chris Bonnell, the owner of Vengeance Graphix, must have seen the same problem we did with the recently released C8 Z06 image and quickly decided to add some color and flair to the new mid-engine rocketship. 

“The color combo was something I wanted to do a little differently instead of the standard color with black-only accents you typically see,” Bonnell explained. “This adds a third accent that works with most colors but is not necessarily needed to be done, just my rendition of something different. However, I kept the body more practical-looking and something you’d see making its way to the assembly line. Of course, the aftermarket will always have its place for upgrades available to make it even more aggressive.”

But color is not the only area where Bonnell saw an opportunity for improvement. So he also decided to take some liberties with a few other areas of the car as well. Bonell said, “I thought the original image was decent, but there is always room for improvements. So I didn’t make too many major changes, mainly minor tweaks such as the roof stripe, lowering, front and side aero with a pinstripe.” He also played with the door vent for a more flowing design vs. the “fish mouth” meme that’s been floating around the internet. When asked if he thought this design change fixed the issue, Bonnell said, “Eh… It leaves a lot to be desired, but I think it looks a little better.”

With so many color choices to choose from, it’s hard to pick one favorite. However, we think the new Z06 looks good in yellow, red, black, and white, but let us know your favorites in the comment section below.
