A full weekend of Lone Star hot roddin’ is on tap March 16-18 as Goodguys return to Texas Motor Speedway for the 2nd annual Spring Lone Star Nationals! The colorful event brings over 2,000 rods, customs and classics through 1972 vintage to the super speedway! Event features include the giant infield show & shine, vendor exhibits, swap meet & cars 4 sale corral, Goodguys AutoCross, live nostalgia entertainment with “Marc Monaco”, model car show with the kids Make & Take program Saturday @ 1pm and lots more fun for the entire family! The popular Saturday evening track cruise (yes you can take your ride around the high banks of TMS!) is scheduled from 5-8pm Saturday the 17th.

Texas land speed racer Charlie Nearburg will be honored as the event’s Hot Rod Hero. While Nearburg’s record setting “Spirit of Rett” streamliner will be on display throughout the weekend on the Midway, the man himself will be onsite Saturday from 1-3pm and Sunday from 1-2pm to sign autographs for fans. You might even get him to pose for a picture!

The popular Super Sunday Get-Together (welcoming all years, makes & models of American powered cars & trucks to the show) will be held Sunday March 18th. Bring out those late models!
