All Goodguys shows bring out great hot rods and muscle cars, but the Columbus, OH event is the granddaddy that the most elite cars and builders roll out to attend.

That’s because the Columbus event is the traditional home of Goodguys’ coveted Street Rod Of The Year and Street Machine Of The Year awards. Snagging one of those titles is quite feather in the cap of any builder and can bring even more recognition to their shop.

 The competition is always stiff and this year was no exception. We can brag that our personal choice took the title though; the 2012 Goodguys Street Machine Of The Year winner is Gary Bowers’ ’66 Mustang known as ‘The Producer,’ built by the RingBrothers! This car is amazing, and the list of mods are nearly endless, but the best part is that this street machine actually runs and handles extremely well! We’ll throw up a couple photos for you to enjoy right now, but watch for a full feature on the car with gorgeous photography in an upcoming issue of PHR.
