This year’s annual cruise down the 101 freeway from Pleasanton to Del Mar will be led by Danville Duke’s members Dave Allen and John “Rocket Man” Paxson. The cruise starts out at the Goodguys HQ in Pleasanton, California on Wednesday, April 2nd at 8:30 a.m. and is scheduled to arrive in Del Mar, California the next afternoon with time to prepare for Goodguys 14th Annual Del Mar Nationals. The show will once again be held at Del Mar’s historic and beautiful Fairgrounds.
The cruise has planned stops along the route, offering not only much needed driving breaks but exclusive inside looks at the private collections of some generous owners and curators. The cruise plans to stop for the evening at the Hyatt Hotel, located right across from the beach in scenic Santa Barbara.
Open to all participants, your only responsibility as a member of the cruise is to book your one-night stay at the Hyatt and keep up with the caravan! The cruise offers a good opportunity to spend an awesome two days on the road with friends new and old, but also with the founder of the Goodguys himself, Gary “Goodguy”Meadors. How many more reasons do you need to get behind the wheel of your ride and hit the road with a great group of like-minded rodders?
