Harrop Engineering, a name synonymous with top-tier performance upgrades in the automotive world, has utilized the latest Eaton TVS technology to create a supercharger that’s sure to capture LS performance junkies – a new TVS2650 supercharger kit tailored for the ever-popular 5.3-liter LS engine.

Performance 

Drawing inspiration from its successful systems for the ZR1 Corvette and the ZL1 Camaro, Harrop’s latest product houses tons of advancements. First and foremost is the incorporation of the latest Eaton TVS technology, including 170-degree twist lobes. This moves a whopping 25 percent more airflow at 18,000 rpm and 14 psi of boost compared to the smaller TVS2300 supercharger. 

Not content with only enhancing the airflow, Harrop has also upgraded the cooling system over its previous models. The TVS2650 features an integrated, high-efficiency water-to-air intercooler, ensuring optimal thermal and volumetric efficiency – translating to increased performance potential, even in the most demanding situations.

Compatibility 

The new system is a no-brainer for LS-equipped vehicles, having been individually tested and validated to meet OEM specifications, as well as ensuring reliability and durability. Harrop offers options for GM factory and 102 mm aftermarket throttle bodies, as well as manifolds available in cathedral, rectangle, or LS7 port geometry.

To showcase the new system’s capabilities, Harrop is showcasing one of its builds, recently completed in-house at Harrop’s Dayton, Ohio facility. The slammed 1964 C10 truck, sporting a 5.3-liter LS swap, had baseline numbers on the dyno coming in around the 100 horsepower mark. The Harrop team went to work, breathing new life into the truck, and achieved nearly 500 horsepower after installing the new TVS2650 supercharger kit.
