When the C8 Corvette was first released, the world was instantly placed on its collective ear. Never before had a Corvette benefitted from the use of a mid-engine design. But America’s sports car is still just a dream for many enthusiasts. That is, until now. If you enter this sweepstakes to win not just a production C8 Corvette, but a special tire-shredding monster — a Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Cunningham C8 Corvette — and to enter, all we ask is that you help support the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation!
That’s right, folks. Here’s your chance to win a 600 horsepower, limited edition C8 Corvette. It all started when Briggs Cunningham, an American racing legend, sportsman, race team owner, and Le Mans Mega-Star, created America’s first modern sports cars after World War II. Mr. Cunningham was responsible for manufacturing some of racing’s most storied racecars – especially, the stunning 1952 Cunningham C4R and C4RK Le Mans racers and the Cunningham C3 grand touring sports car. In 1958, Briggs won both the American Driving Championship and piloted the “Columbia” to win the prestigious America’s Cup sailing race that same year!
In 1960, Zora Arkus-Duntov asked Briggs if he thought the Corvette could be competitive at Le Mans. With that one question, an amazing journey began! It led to Corvette’s first appearance on the global racing stage. Now known as Cunningham Corvettes – the three-car effort proved to the world that the Corvette was a true sports car. Car #3 finished 8th overall – winning its class that year and enshrining it in Corvette lore!
Here we are, 60 years later. And the dream team is still collaborating — so to speak. To commemorate the icons teaming up, only 60 of these special 60th Anniversary C8 Cunningham Corvettes will be produced, each will be numbered to commemorate the 1960 LeMans-winning Corvette #3. In addition, each VIN will be entered into the Cunningham Registry. This vehicle is number 33 and can be yours with your sweepstakes entry today.
You have until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, to enter this amazing Corvette sweepstakes. And if you act now and use promo code REPEAT50, you will even get 50-percent more entry tickets. We also understand that not everyone might be a fan of the Corvette — we don’t get it, but understand it. If you win and you’re really not a Corvette person, that’s totally ok. You’re still supporting a great cause and there’s a $75,000 cash payout option. Everyone wins! How cool would this 60th Anniversary Cunningham Corvette look in your garage?
